What a great day. The November workshop "Thankful Box & Journal" class was terrific. It is always amazing to see so many different interpretations. The class members learned altering/art techniques and presentation. We demonstrated at the technique table, how to use paint, washes, tinting, utilizing found objects, alter photos, paper and antique ephemera as well as the composition and placement of objects.
We also shared tips and tricks (there are many) for adhering objects with matte gel medium, glue, wire, brads, screws, hammer & nails as well as liquid nails and hot glue guns. These gals were quick studies, and their boxes and journals are absolutely beautiful.Click on arrow for movie...
We were so happy to hear everyone talk about how being creative was not only fun but relaxing. Thanks to everyone who came to the November workshop, we love sharing the Saturday Sisters approach to "Art Therapy"!
Our December class, "Joseph Cornell inspired Holiday Boxes" is already filling up. Don't wait, it will be fun and informative. Sign up today.
